Why this page exists
Worth101 is a free educational publisher. To remain free, we may eventually accept advertising or affiliate revenue. This page tells you exactly what those arrangements are — or are not — so you can read our content with full context.
1. Editorial Independence
Calculator logic, scenario rankings, account comparisons, and rate assumptions are determined solely by the editorial team based on public-domain references. No advertiser, affiliate partner, or sponsor influences a calculator's math, a scenario's outcome, or an article's recommendation.
2. Affiliate Disclosure
- Worth101 currently has no active affiliate relationships with brokerages, banks, robo-advisors, or financial product issuers.
- If that changes, links to partner products will be marked "affiliate link" inline (not just in this footer page), per FTC 16 CFR Part 255 guidance.
- We will never gate calculator outputs behind affiliate clicks or place affiliate links above the calculator on tool pages.
3. Advertising Disclosure
We do not currently run programmatic display ads. If we activate Google AdSense or Mediavine in the future, ad placements will respect tool-flow boundaries: no more than two ad slots per page on calculator pages, and never inside the calculator UI itself.
4. Sponsorship Policy
Worth101 does not accept paid placements, sponsored articles, or guest posts. Any future sponsored content will be clearly labeled "Sponsored" at the top of the article and excluded from search index via noindex.
5. Use of Your Data
Calculator inputs stay in your browser; we do not store the numbers you enter. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic metrics, and Cloudflare may set necessary security cookies such as cf_clearance when a challenge is required. No advertising or retargeting cookies are used.
